How can I find a guide of what year belong with what engine numbers? I'm mostly looking for Model 490 engine numbers and years but anything is appreciated

If you are trying to identify a particular engine, post here, all information on the block that is cast in the block. Then give us the numbers stamped on the block anywhere. Now do the same for the head.

If this is not what you wanted, perhaps you could explain it to us again.

I can't find any engine number on the block like I can on my spare engines
