If your car is a Special, the rubber shields are o Filling Station. The chrome one are Junkyard material.

Marv, I would look in some of the old car salvage yards advertised in Hemmings there is one or two in Arizona, also National Chevy Assoc in Minnisota has several parts cars that have those, I have one on a 51 HT but don't know if it is eaten up with rust or not, I will look next week.
Mahalet is refering to the gravel shields on the rear fenders just in front of the fender opening, I believe.

Hey Mr Mack.,don't sell him a 51 rear gravel shield,it's different, I believe the 52 has an extension on the upper rear part of it. Maybe he wants the smaller piece below it (if there is one, can't remember).Daver.

Marv, Daver is exactly right the 52 is different than the 51 and the same year sedan may not fit a hardtop or coupe, the little upper curved extension on the rear of the shields connect to the spear trim just above the fender opening. Also the 52 has a script emblem just above the shield and the 51 has no script emblem nor a trim spear above the wheel opening.

I have been following this thread and still don't know just what gravel shield Marv is refering to.When I read his post I thought of the gravel shield between the rear bumper and body. This was due to the fact that a side wasn't mentioned --ie-left or right. This "shield" or deflector fits 1951 & 1952.Now if its the stainless steel shield on the front of the rear fender-yes, is it left or right? The main large shield is the same for all 2 door models from sedans to hardtops 1951 and 1952.BUT in 1952 the little extension was added above the shield and connects to the long moulding. This is a seperate piece .

Maybe so, a gravel shield is one and a gravel deflector is the other, at first I thought he was looking for a gravel deflector I have both but the shields only fits a 51 belairand probably other 51 2 door cars.

The gravel shield I was referring to is the pan that goes between the bumper and trunk. I probably didn't use the proper description. I have since located a NOS one out in S. Dakota. Thanks to all for their responses. Marv
