i just rebuilt headlights and tail light on my 31 sedan. On reassembly, I have a mismatch set of 6v bulbs. The headlight bulbs are easy - "1000s" but what is the tail light (license plate) lower bulb number, and stop light upper bulb? And what number bulb goes in the parking lamp socket of the headlamp? They all look alike - straight pin -same size sockets. I tried looking up on the 1931chev.com site, nothing about parking lamps for 1931. Filling Station doesn't appear to have a stop lamp bulb that is single pin. Can you guys help? I don't want to convert to LED.

Have a 30 coupe, the roof front rail received has two round holes, one on each side. there are four bolts attached to the windshield header and regulator with rectangle brackets. they go thru the roof front rail and fasten the back side of the windshield header bar. Any experience on the correct roof front rail?? Thanks Dave

I rebuilt the sockets using some reflectors from another year. The donor reflectors provided me the replacement asbestos spring bases to allow me to rebuild the 31 sockets on the car. I used all new wire because my insulation was deteriorated and soldered on the old steel contacts off of the old wire. Now I have working twist-lock sockets and working lamps. Good as new. Now trying to diagnose why my brake lights not working. The switch is working, but I have no juice at the tail lamp. I must have a break somewhere in the old wire. Tracing it now.
