Hello. 1941 Master Deluxe, original. Are the heater hoses red or black that run from firewall to underneath driver's seat. The hoses now are black, but deteriorated and need replacement of which one, red or black hoses
Thanks
Gus. 1941 Master Deluxe, all original 216.

Black was original and I doubt if you could even find red hose today.
It was common to replace radiator and heater hoses every few years, not like today where they seem to last for ever.

Must be a regional thing. A lot of the FLAPS around here carry red. I had to search for black.

Thank you Chevy Gene, et. al. My friend at NAPA has black waiting for me, but was a little unsure if red might have been a possibilty.

Gus...
