Could one of you 31 guys give us the specific location for the brass tag relative to either the door or the stainless cowl band etc.

There is a "reinforcing/threaded" plate on back side of cowl sheet metal into which the proper screws go. Check to see if it is stil on your car. If it is missing, you will likely need to make one, or secure badge with 3M tape. Original screws are smaller than those shown in Bill's photo, brass, and slotted flat topped and finish up flush with face of badge, or at least they do on my car. I think some of these badges had painted background?

Anytime that you need a part always check your Filling Station catalog or their web site first because they have a lot of stuff.
