I have a 1936 Chevy Sedan. I want to keep both hoods up so I bought some support rods. When I got them, there were no instructions on how to install them. Any ideas?

Can you explain what you mean by keeping both hoods up?

If the "support rods" are the standard after-market ones, then they mount underneath the wishbone brace, perpendicular to the fore-and-aft line of the car. Like this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/371308960225?lpid=82&chn=ps

Would like to see a picture of these in use. It might be something I could use too.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1928-1934-F...98898126?vxp=mtr&hash=item58c72f74ceTHIS ITEM IS PRODUCED BY Carolina custom and when set in the proper location on your firewall it will allow BOTH SIDES of your hood to be in the up position at the same time. These attach by 2 screws from the back side. They also have 3 positions the spring loaded arms can be set too. I have posted this link on this site before. I run them on my 35 chevolet mike lynch

I have one on my truck that I bought from Jegs some years ago. It bolts to the radiator support rods. I will post a picture later today.
