Now that I have considered the pros and cons of side pans for my 1946 1 Ton Panel, I still want to make it like original, and just deal with the heat-in-the-cab issue. To summarize the "good parts" of my previous thread on this: I don't have any side pans, I want some, the pans for 1 Ton are a different part no. than for a 1/2 Ton, we have been shown the dimensions for the 1/2 Ton ones, but we don't know how the 1 Ton pans differ.
So, can anyone show me the dimensions for the 1 Ton ones? And post photos. If you have some of either style to sell, PM me or let me know and post them in the "Parts for Sale" forum.

Doing this to repost in my continuing search for side pans or info. on them for my 46 1 Ton.

Those engine pans will definately help with the heat in the cab issues,I put them on my 37 last fall and can ride around now when its in the 80s with the cowl vent closed where before I had to open it when the outside temps were in the 50s. When I met you at Starks years ago when you were looking for a radiator did you look for the side pans then.

The side pans fit 1937-1946 1 ton and 1 1/2 ton trucks.

Jeff, I did look everywhere at Starks. None there then.
ChevNut, that really helps. Now I'll look for side pans for 1937-1946 1 ton and 1 1/2 ton trucks.

Still looking for both engine side pans for 1937-1946 1 ton and 1 1/2 ton trucks.

Did you look at the GMC in the back lot of Starks and there is also a 39 or 40 cabover back there too.
