OP buggymangp Oil Can Mechanic Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 523 nj usa	hi guys i ordered a 6volt tach for my 30 from a place called westach out of cal. i wanted one for long time. of course i wont be cutting any holes in my dash. i`m guessing i`ll mount it on my steering shaft or below the dash. i`ll see when i get it.

USA	Hello buggymangp, I also purchased one from the same company...all hooked up and ready to go, but haven't started the engine yet. (also a 6volt) Every chevy car/truck I have every owned has had a tack in it. I like the idea of monitoring the engine speed. Dave old cars are meant to be driven !! VCCA # 047832
