Hi All,

What were the nationally recognized Chevy Slogans used during the period of 1949 - 1954?

Any web sites out there with this info?

Thanks,

Keith

From Campbell-Ewald book: A Celebration of Over SEVEN Decades of Chevrolet Advertising: Some of the slogans were: For the AD Trucks: P*L* (Performance, Payload, Popularity and Price) LEADERS: For the cars: AMERICAS LARGEST AND FINEST LOW-PRICED CARS, MORE PEOPLE BUY CHEVROLET THAN ANY OTHER CAR.

Other sub-slogans included: Pride of the Family Reunion, Let Pleasure Surround You, Motoramic Chevrolet More than a new car.....A new concept of low-cost motoring, SWEET, SMOOTH AND SASSY.

And on and on...........

And don't forget: SEE THE USA IN YOUR CHEVROLET.

Here is an ad that ran for the 1949 Chevrolet:

If you go to eBay HOME PAGE where you can search the entire eBay site and do a search for 1949 Chevrolet you will pull up all kinds of stuff for that year Chevrolet, not just vehicles and parts.

For 1949 Chevrolet's slogan was "The Most Beautiful Buy Of All". Other adv. that I have states "America's Choice for 18 Years".
