I'm working on a 39 GMC pickup, and I acquired the GMC version of the Super Deluxe Heater, which is pictured in the 1939-41 GMC master parts book. The Chevrolet equivalent is picture installed in this 39 Chevy truck.

I have attempted to contact the owner of the truck for answers to this question with no luck. I'm wondering if anyone else has a 39-46 truck with this heater installed, or if anyone has an installation template.
I would like to get the heater installed in the correct spot.

Thanks to anyone that can help in advance!

Chevrolet sold that heater from 1942-mid 1948 for passenger cars only.

Thanks for the answer. That is very surprising. I would have thought Chevy offered it as well.
In case you are interested, here's the GMC version. This heater is listed in the 39-41 GMC Book of Parts.

Thank you for posting the picture. I would bet that heater was first listed in the 1941 parts book and was retrofitted to 1939 and 1940 models.
The heaters were made and designed by the Harrison Division of General Motors .Often GMC offered different family accessories than Chevrolet.

Certainly possible. I have been on the hunt for a Book of Parts that excludes 41 models to verify just that.
