Does anyone have a recommendation for a product to re-coat black top (canvas, or what ever it is) Top not terrible just needs a refresh?

Thanks

Most of the four letter auto parts dealers have top dressing four closed cars.

Hold your nose, but I have used a roof sealant from Lowe's on several closed cars with excellent results. It's this stuff:

http://www.lowes.com/pd_12011-29-6230-9-34_1z0uk7k__?productId=3009894&pl=1

It's thick and it will seal even a badly deteriorated roof. If applied carefully, it looks really good on the car, too. And it's cheap!

All the Best, Chip

I did some research for Vinyl coatings and found a product made by SEM, Classic Coat, Flexible spray coating for Vinyl & Leather. I used it last night and WOW it came out beautiful. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to refresh closed car top. You do need to purchase a pre product called prep. Getting top ready for coating took longer than application.
