Hi All,
While offshore this last hitch, I scanned every page of the 1949-53 Chevrolet Passenger Car Service Manual with the 1954 Supplement. Have assembled the manual in a user format using MS Front Page for easy use with page and section links, forward, back, etc. buttons on each page and a 800 dpi accross the top of each page.
Does anyone have a server that could accommodate this info? The server/service I use is almost maxed out and money is tight around this house right now.
The Manual is alittle over 62 mb. I hope in the near future to put all the resto-packs for 46-54, the 1929-1954 Master Parts Catalog, Radio Service Manual and other old manuals/info for the 49-54 Chevys in this same format.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks,

I use www.web1000.com for hosting pages it will give you 50mbs free. You will need to redirect or link pages together to fit everthing you want. I dont beleive there is a need to watermark it. As you mention, you copied an already printed manual. I will assume the print is not your work so you should not think of selling it.I think you are alraedy pushing the envalope by coping something that is all ready someone elses copyright. Please forgive me if I misunderstood. If you want to protected from the public eye and only care to share it with friends then the file can be zipped and password protected. Just give your buddys the location of the file and the password. A 62mb text file will zipp down to about 40mbs.

May the sea be always kind to the good Captain, may he sail in the soft arms of the wind, may the sunrise wake him sweetly.

Hi Jamis, I used your suggestion and now have the manual posted at: http://1951chevymanual.web1000.com/ Hi Mahar. Good to see you posting here too. Hiring back with the company that has boats down your way! Will probably be banished to the north Gulf of Mexico for awhile before an openning comes up in Brazil. Take Care, Keith
