I guess I live in a hot rod town, went to a car show in the park today and I bet out of 200 cars and trucks my ole fleetline and a 52 chevy truck were the only ones there sporting their original 6 cylinders and drive train, there were a lot of 50's and earlier that were Hot Rodded, a lot of late 60's all had big cams and sound, Guess I need to move to another town.... But I did have a lot of compliments...

I have a stock 48 as well - a Fleetmaster Town Sedan. In the three years I've owned her - I've seen very few 40's or early 50's Chevys that haven't been rodded around here as well. That's OK - we're individualists - we don't have small block V8s like everybody else, and, we're talented enough to keep a 67 year old engine running.
