That is the first steam bending video I watched about 10 times or more.

There are a bunch of others on there to watch too.

I used 3 wallpaper steamers to create enough steam for 1 1/2 hours to allow the wood to bend over a form.

I made a form to recreate the top holding wrap around area out of 15/16" thick northern ash. I made it 5" total narrower than stock to allow for bend back once released from the mold/jig after 4 days.

I also soaked the wood for 3 days in a black 4" abs pipe before steaming.

Looked so simple. I have to make a rear main bow for a '31 Chrysler CD8 Roadster, was pondering how to go about it, now I know, I'm going to send the wood and pattern over to you!! Nice work.
