Rebuilding a 1928 Roadster. The engine needs rebuilt. What are the factory main and rod sizes? Also I would like to locate a set of Inivar strut pistons. New or used (prefer new), I will sleave the case first so I could use a std set.

While I am sure you will get a reply here for quicker answers to future questions it may be best to post in the forum that covers 1928.

A friend of mine has a set of these. He told me he bought them for a Chevy 6 build that never happened. I don't have details but I think he wants to sell them for $150 or $160. but I'm not sure its been over a year since I saw them and I have CRS idea

Here is 236 pages of info for your vehicle.

"Motor Specifications" are both handwritten and typed in these pages. Your Inivar pistons are mentioned in detail, regarding proper fit, in a section of "Service News, also listed within the 236 pages. Patience is needed to scroll through all the info. A lot there !
