Not sure how a Beehive is plumed but on "normal" oil filters the in going line goes from the oil presseur gauge fitting to the side of the filter.

The exiting clean oil goes from the bottom of the filter to the plug low on the side of the block.

The Filling Station sells the line and installation kit.

Hello Gene let me ask another question the oil pressure gauge and the IN line should go to the rear of the block ??
together from a tee fitting

And the Clean oil OUT line should be the forward fitting in the middle of the block?

Thank you

It would depend on where the filter is located.
With the GM AC filter prior to 1955 the filter was clamped to the intake manifold in front on the carburetor.
The inlet line was to the back of the filter. From 1955 and up the filter clamped onto the manifold to the reaar of the carburetor so the inlet was more to the front of the car.
Where is the Beehive supposed to be mounted?

I have a 1950 Fleetline Deluxe and looking at the engine from the drivers side the oil filter is just to the left of the carb. The OUT line is directly above the middle of the block.

My problem is that both oil lines go to the same mounting hole in the middle of the block and the oil pressure gauge is mounted by its self towards the rear of the block, but this does not seem correct. I was at a show this weekend and parked next to another 50 Fleetline Deluxe and we both went over each others cars very well and we noticed that he had the OUT going to the middle of the block and the in and the oil pressure gauge to the rear of the block.. sorry so long winded but I know one of them is not correct thank you

On the drivers side of the block, center and about two inches from the bottom is a tin plate held on by three screws. Just below that there is a pipe plug. That is where the return line goes`.
Just to the rear of the tin plate is the oil gauge fitting. The oil coming into the filter comes from that point. A "T" is used so the oil filter and oil pressure gauge can both be t
attached there.

The instreuctions are slightly off because it shows a 1953 power Glide 1954 engine and a full pressure engiine so the return hose is a bit farther to the rear. The motor mount bracket is kind of pictured but that engine did not have the tin plate and 3 screws.

The "visual" was inserted to show the actual routing, as compared to the posters comments below.
