What type of nails were used on the chev. bodies and who supplies them. I need 1/2,3/4 and 1" thanks for any info Ed

I bought mine from a vendor while at Hershey and I believe it was the Restoration Supply Company located in Escondido CA. Link Provided below. Garry Wallace has them as well and would recommend contacting him first at Early Chevy Parts

I have used the old fashioned blued shingle nails that are sold by the pound. They may be hard to find. They were recommended to us as being very close to the original when I took a restoration course at our auto museum a few years ago. They hold really well but are really hard to remove if you need to. Ordinary 1" steel nails work also and are easy to remove.
