I have some light rotted wood at the top hinge passenger door on my 30 SC. Has anyone used any of the following products And if so any things I should look out for: The West system, Kwik Poly, or Smith & Co products. The hinge screws will not tighten.

I have used kwik poly for numerous wood repairs the only draw back is is very hard when set and you will need to drill pilot holes to install screws.

If the wood around the screw isn't that bad then you can drill out the screw hole and glue in a hardwood dowel. I use have used tightbond 3 its an excellent water resistant glue. If the wood rot is more substantial then you might need to replace more,That becomes a lot more work.

Kwik Poliy can be pored over rotted wood it will soak in and become very hard.
Mixing for poring do not use as much harder for a longer set time.

You should always drill the correct size pilot hole in wood, so you do not split it.

When needing information a good source is Google. I just did a search on Google for Kwik Poly and I came up with the following:

http://kwikpolyllc.com/

Their web site has lots of information.
