I need to redo my Body By Fisher emblem that's attached to the RH side of the cowl for the 33. Does anybody have a picture of a known original so I can fill in color where it needs to be? I see new ones at the Filling Station & others on line but which one is correct? Thanks, Joe

My ”˜33 Eagle was painted black over the original color, which was Olympic Blue.

I repainted it black again, but when l removed the paint from the fisher plate it was cream and light blue. The background is cream and the coach is light blue.

After looking at my original a little closer I can see indications of a black back ground & some blue on the coach, possibly blue in the window area also. Not 100% sure on the window area...Joe

It is my understanding that 1932 was the only year to have a cream background on the oval "Body By Fisher" emblem.

My '33 is an early production and I have no reason to believe that the Fisher emblem is not the original one that came on the car.

I bought the car in 1963. I'm the third owner and the second owner had it for two months prior to me. There are other parts on the car that are from the previous year, like the trunk handle and the wind wing window knobs instead of the short window crank handles.

How early in the 1933 model year was your car manufactured?

That information has been stored in my memory for more than 50 years, so it may take awhile to retrieve it. Also had it on a couple of my last two or three hard drives ago. Give me some time and I will get it figured out again.

The month of manufacture is included in the car's serial number, so you might want to check the serial number plate.
