How does a person know if his '41 Chevy Coupe has "knee action" shocks? What do the shocks look like? Thanks,
Dan.

All 1941 chevrolets had front shocks built into the knee-action suspension. The shock is the two upper arms in the suspension and the kind of square box they attach to ----box is bolted to the front crossmember. Shock had a small filler plug on top and must be kept full of fluid (jack oil)

Hi Dan, We discuss knee action shock a couple times a year so searching our old posts can provide you a lot of info. Let us know if you need any help with yours. Hi Dan,
What is the condition of your 4 shocks? Do you have anymore questions about them?
Good Luck, Mike
