In pic # 446 and # 473, look at the wheel openings.

# 446 has a very squared off look for the rear wheel opening, factory skirts would not fit on that green one.

# 473 has a very "circular" front wheel opening, not like any '51 that I've seen.

Point is, these Cuban guys have shown much ingenuity, with their cars, along with the '52 rear fender mldgs, or their '51 replacement grilles.

Factory or not? You decide.

No, Bill responded and I left a reply. I don't see it.
Bill agreed that no 1951 cars had 1952 trim and it was added later for one reason or another.
My thoughts. Why would Chevrolet have spent more money and used more materials and given a clue to the next years model. Cars were some what short in 1951 and 1952 and there as no reason to doctor up the last years model.

I did not see any reply either, regarding Bill's comments on the mldgs.

It appears many chose to add the rear mldgs to "personalize" their vehicles, back then. dance
