The mirror in our car measures 2-1/2" x 7" and has a 2" diameter window on the upper right for a clock? The mirror has a beveled edge and a ball and socket arrangement that clamps over the mirror and attaches to the regulator board with screws. The mirror itself is gold as opposed to the normal silver mirror.
Does anyone know if this is a Chevrolet mirror or possibly aftermarket?

I think the gold mirror is Cad.

I have a 1931 Coach as well and it had a non working clock. Do you have clock? I was able to get clock repaired but face was faded badly so a commercial artist friend of mine researched it and made a new face. I have a digital file for that face that I would be willing to share.

Two Chevrolet accessory clocks were offered for 1931 and 1932. One was a clock mirror (the wind-up clock was actually in the rear view mirror) and the other was a Sterling Electric clock (exactly like the one featured in the photo) and it mounted in the instrument panel.
