Howdy folks. this is a modern interpretation of a wooden covered bridge... it is made of wood, including the deck/road bed... was built in 1997. I stopped back by the bridge again last week and added a few more photos. I have passed over the Meem's Bottom Bridge out in Mt Jackson, VA it is the fourth one, others washed out by storms. Crosses over the Shenandoah River. We vacation out that way and always make sure we stop by and check it out. Coolest time there was a few years back, we were traveling down the road to cross the bridge, it is a ONE LANE BRIDGE, stopped before we crossed so we could walk down to the river, and across the bridge came a Model T, then another, and another, we sat for 30 minutes watching these cars come across the bridge.
