I am going over my tail lights and came up with a few questions. My car came with both left and right tail lights. Not sure when right one was added. Was the bracket on the right the same as on the left? If not did it have a different angle at the base? Was there a place for a license plate bracket for the right side? I am painting the car Admiral Blue both body and fenders. Are the tail light assemblies still painted black? I also need to know where the ground strap for the engine to frame / body is installed?

Thanks,
Einar

The right bracket did not have a license plate mounting bracket and was contured for the right fender.
The tail lamp brackets/lamps are painted "fender" color.
There was no ground strap although adding one would be a good idea.

I attached a ground wire to the rear fender bolt. I tested this bolt for a good ground with a volt ohm meter.
