Hello and Welcome, My name is Brownie Petersen and I have signed up to assist MrMack with forum questions that relate to steel station wagons. This will add an additional perspective to one of the special areas of chevrolet collecting. It is good to be on line to assist in the lively and informative forum. So, those of you out there with the station wagons, drop us a line and MrMack and I will do our best to start up some fun discussions. Brownie, Ut

Fisher Body Division of GM did not build ambulance bodies.Only high production standard car bodies. The exception would be if you have just a short station wagon converted into an ambulance. The elongated bodies were built by such companies as National,Barnette,Meteor, and Acme. In Canada the St.Catherine Auto Body Co im Ontario converted the sedan delivery body into a short wagon and also built an extended version If its a converted sedan delivery body (long or short) the front doors will have a rounded top rear corner There would be no production number figures on these.
