It is a waste of money. If it makes you feel better than it is your $$$. In high mileage, high temperature engines synthetics are recommended. In our old Chevys that need at least an annual oil change 'overkill'.

iagree I agree with Chipper, you would be fine with a good grade of 30wt and save your money for some of the parts and pieces you will really need.
