After seeing how expensive recoring my radiator is plus the fact that my radiator turned out to actually be from a pre-31 car, I've considered getting a non-honeycomb Brassworks radiator. It will literally take all the money I've saved up over the last couple years so I want to make sure I make a good decision on the purchase.

For those of you that have radiators from Brassworks what are your opinions and what have your experiences been?

Thanks

Have you looked into WALKER RADIATOR right in your neck of the woods.

Altho they are primarily I think a street rod radiator maker , wouldn't hurt to talk to them about what they offer for your car.

The Brassworks restores and fabricates radiators for cars, trucks, airplanes, fire engines and tractors as early as 1902.

They have a honeycomb metal screen to hide a modern style core that fits a standard Chevy shell and engine.

Well, I ordered a Brassworks radiator today. I called Walker radiator as I had done business with them in the past but they recommended Brassworks for this application. I got the non-honeycomb radiator which was more affordable and I also already have a stoneguard. I guess we'll see how it goes.
