Hi...
Anybody know where I can get a hold of a good Carb Rebuild Kit for a W1 Carter for my 46 Stylemaster Town Sedan???

Also, where can I find info on Casting/Model Numbers for the W1???... Carter made them for such a long time that there are surely many such numbers... Mine no longer has its triangular metal tab with identification information..

Thanks...

Marcellin

When ordering, make sure you specify Cater W-1 for a Chevrolet 6. I've read that Carter made the W-1 for other car makers and engines. A kit for the same carb but spec'd for other engines may not give you good results.
