When we cleaned up the 31 Trico vacuum motor we couldn't help but notice the Trico logo on the brass tag that attaches to the front of the unit. The label reads "Trico Automatic, Buffalo N.Y.", but we would be interested to know the meaning of the ten five pointed stars across the bottom and the ten "C" shaped figures across the left and right perimeter of the triangle.

Thanks again to 1931Sal for the You Tube video showing how to lubricate the motor. It is free now and might very well be functional once hooked to a vacuum source. We will see.

Side note, they stopped using that tag in the middle of 32.
