trying to remove to chrome rings for the door handles off the outer door skins.Any tricks or do you knock them out and get new ones?

Yes. Also, there is a special tool that you can rent from the Filling Station to install the new escutcheons.

Thanks kinda thought that try ed one and the 4 dimples left nice dents in the skin.So I'm going 2 try drilling them first to lighten the damage.

If you're working from the inside of the door, use a small screwdriver, or punch and bend the "ring" inward. Do this all around the "ring" and that will move the dimples away from the skin - then you can just push it out without any damage to the door.

PS. The "rings" are called ferrules. computer

Thanks I'm going to try drilling each one from outside first the dimples are close enough to get to them.Then I'll pry the inside.tough little buggers.
