New to site and have a question. I'm picking up a 1939 1/2 ton short bed tomorrow and wanted to know if these trucks had a hood prop from the factory? The truck I am buying does not have them, if they do where would I get a reproduction hood prop to use? Fleabag!!

There was no hood prop on trucks. There was on 1937-1939 cars only.

The Filling Station is a supplier of old Chevy parts. They advertise on Chat. Look in forums for their ads or google "The Filling Station" to access their website. Owners have been VCCA members for many, many years and help promote the VCCA.
