Would anyone happen to know what DuPont #86 paint would look like from the early 30's? Color name a chip would be nice.
Thank you,

Bruce, Do you mean paint combination 86 for 1931? Black upper body and Bolling Green lower? My Bolling Green chip is a very dark green. guess it is DuPont #246-1331.

Hey Gene,
Nope all I know is it is a number which points to a color, not a color combination. The paper work which I have calls in DuPont #86. I think it would be like a standard color.
Thank you,

I don't see any numbers with only two digets in DuPont early paint numbers. Would it be an Ivory or Cream?

I found five double digit numbers but not 86. All were preceded with a zero such as 032-036-046-066-082.

Hey Steve, where did you find those numbers? Might give me a clue where to look more. Thank you for looking!

Hey Wisebri!
Thank you for looking, I think this is a little to new. It needs to be from the 30's and maybe 40's DuPont paint books.
Let me know if you see anything else.
