I see one at "The Filling Station", but, in my opinion, pricy. $375 or so.

Can your be recored?

The core is fine. The top tank is cracked. I had it repaired about 2 years ago, but it has started seeping at the repair. I talked to the repair shop, and they suggested replacing it.

JB Weld to the rescue! At least until you can save up for new tanks.

I might still have the top and bottom from an old radiator I scrapped years ago. the core was rotted out but the top& bottom were in good shape so I kept them in case I needed numbers correct it is dated 50 if you are wanting to keep your car stock let me go to garage and make sure the kids didn't scrap and I will get back to you later today andy

I have one I bought from Nat.Chevy Asso., made by US radiator, as all of the suppliers I've contacted get theirs from. I don't care for the overall design or the way the cap fits. Maybe I'm being to critical. In my opinion the original radiator design is more pleasing to the eye.

I don't think your being "critical"...If you can find a good top and bottom and have a new core soldered in I think you'd be happy, maybe not about the price though...But, it would be like the original...That's a nice touch...Thinking you might want to the original tags for that restoration look...A crack on the top can be redone...Perhaps it just wasn't fluxed well enough...My trick is to not use a torch but a soldering copper and heat it with a torch for a good soldering job...A touch spreads solder all over the place...The copper iron works well on core touch ups...Unless there too rotted...

Could be. There's a lot of things rattling around in this old head, but I still have one good eye, and I see more than a couple of mismatched ribs...Just sayin

S.E. Ohio Marietta area. I'm the guy you mailed the cluster gear to, and by the way it wasn't usable. I would rather you put a price on the tanks

No worries about the gear, it was worth a shot. I know you don't travel to the Marietta area with your work, but how far South do you go. Cambridge or Zanesville area?

Andy, don't bother with trying to get the tanks to me. I decided to install the new radiator after talking to a local repair shop. Thanks to all for your input.
