In this area a car like that would bring $4,500, especially if a street-rodder bought it. :( :( :(

Looks like a nice solid car. With the yellow/black 1948 oil filter, correct Durex gas filter had optional oil bath air cleaner. What great chrome considering the surface rust.$4500 would be ball park.

And those SKIRTS!!! Unfortunately for me, the barn and garage are full and the wallet is empty. The thoughts of that one going to a rodder makes me ill :(

It's hard to believe a non-running barn car brings that kind of money these days...I paid $600 for this old baby back in '94 (granted, she's a '52 and has two extra doors)...

Looks like a winner to me. Fits well, lots of valuable accessories, all there, good chrome and stainless, etc. Often when I look at a '48, I can point out many concerns. This one - just a few...

That Aero is a close copy to mine when I started, except mine had a little more of the Silver Oak Geen. The top was a dark green, cn't remember the name right now. But your car has the bells and whistles, the bumper add-ons,the visor, steering wheel, ($$$), I must buy those accessories. :( Nice solid starter car tho,I should buy it, I'd have twins!!!

jtray: Never saw an itch that hadn't oughtta be scratched.

WW: Twins would be cool. Especially one with lotsa options.

PDXjoe: what knows ye about 48's?? Except that you've got (one of) the nicest '48 Cabriolet around.

And Mr. Moderator: maybe that's the 'base' for my street rod.

Oooops!!!

WWalt:

At the bottom of the first post...... Click on that and you see all the pictures of the car. And then at the end of all the pictures there's an email address.

I didn't see any "location" mentioned in all the discussion about the car. So, I'd suggest you click on that email address and send the "Model T Haven" guy an email and ask him. Sorry, but that's the best suggeston I can come up with for determining the car's location.

W Walt:

I did just notice the "title" of the thread......

Great looking '48 for sale in KS ...
I understand "KS" is Kipper Sarnie's initials; however I presume it's safe to assume the car is in Kansas and not at Kipper Sarnie's!!

If someone wanted to know more about the car, exact location, etc. etc. - I'd follow my suggestion in the previous post.

WW - Did you buy those '48s??? They're not on the website anymore! chevy

Here's hoping that the Aero went to a good home. It's probably best for my marriage that somebody besides me bought them croc

No, I didn't take em, I got my hands full now. I still have a little ways to go on this Aero. After that, who knows? I have alot of space!
Maybe next time.
