Awhile back I was looking at a 33 Master Eagle local to me (NJ).

The good: Metal, wood, glass.
The bad: Four doors, black and engine appears to be seized. I tried all sorts of elixirs and methods to free it up without luck.

My buddy is having his Model A engine rebuilt and I joined him on a visit to the rebuilder in Mass. Wow. The boys at J&M Machine have an impressive shop. Since these guys work on all engine types, I was thinking that if I can get the 33 for a song, I might consider an engine rebuild. But I don't know what constitutes a "song" for these cars. Do any of you?

Also, while I was up in Mass, I took some videos of the men at work. I have no affiliation with J&M (Monetary or otherwise). But as a closet gearhead I thought you might be interested in these videos.

A song for a good complete rebuild coulld be to the tune of $3000.
nine out of ten rebuilders don't know how to rebuild a 1933 Chevrolet engine.

Thanks for the reply. I was referring to the price of the car (with a seized engine).

Check out the "Shop tour" video. J&M was working on everything from Model As to a TBird, to a 1930 V12 to Flathead V8's. I'm sure they'd be happy to quote me on a 6.

Thanks again.
