Going to restore the gauge faces. I have the faces and screws from the FS. They look nice. The question that I have for today is........ Is the Headlight switch knob just pressed on? I really do not want to break the knob by trying to force it off, and I have not disassembled the back of the switch to check that end out..... Thanks, Dale

@#$%^&*!!! Guess I will split the bottom of the ivory colored insert to slip it past the knob shaft without removing the knob..... Glad I asked. Thanks, Dale

Maybe my memory is failing me, but I thought the '29 light switch knob was secured from the back by a screw. I remember opening the rear of the switch, removing the screw and lifting off a spring and some discs. Then the knob pushed clear of the housing and the ivory plastic cover. Am I losing it Skip? Thanks for the update gentlemen. When I get the dash apart, I'll open the switch. Now I need to get the crinkle paint, silver fish grey, Testors paint for the needles, and the ivory color paint for the other two oval faces that matches the ivory colored disk for the headlight switch. I thought that I had seen the Testors color for the needle paint listed in a post some where. Can't find it. Anyone remember what it is? Thanks, Dale
