Price of gas here in California just jumped 20 cents a gallon in the last 6 hours...

I used to have an '86 Chevy Sprint ( Suzuki ) three cylinder turbo...Stay off the turbo and you could get 50 mpg on the freeway...lol Kinda wish I still had it, but it was a death trap...A tin can with a dashboard, I used to call it...

Going up fast here also, plus they just raised the fuel tax 10 cents!

Where did you see that Kevin? Of course the price is going up. "Summer Blend" and were are heading to Copperstown NY in June so the price has to go up for people traveling in the summer.

It was in the newspaper...Still feel the pain, although I can still get back and forth to Valley Springs from Concord on about $22 bucks worth...Haven't started the '47 but once so far this year...sniff the tank weekly to see if the gas is turning... it's not like fine wine, but I think I'd better drain it and toss it in the old Toyota...Funny thing happened while checking the mail box...Handbrake wasn't set tight on the Toyota and it rolled away off the drive and into the field...Missed several oak trees but ended up in the creek...It's 4 wheel drive so it wasn't much of a problem getting it out, although the back wheels were no longer touching the ground...I did salute it as it rolled away...lol It's a fine truck... 249,000 on it now...No damage, glad it didn't hit a tree...
