So while waiting on the head to come back from the shop I have puttered around with the '29. I see it has a non-standard carb, although it seems a reasonable substitute. I am going to try it when I get the head back on, to see how it runs. What am I in for to get the correct carburetor?
Also my air filter and tube connecting to the oil filler is missing.
I have a feeling I am going to end up with a complete engine overhaul; we'll see. No particular hurry.

I should have the parts you need. Think I saw a '29 air cleaner and tube on the shelf a couple of days ago. Have several rebuilt carburetors on the shelf. They aren't cheap but not ridiculously priced either and available. When you know what you need let me know by PM. And list it in the parts wanted forum to see if anyone else has what you need.
