I have a 1941 Chevrolet Master Deluxe, 2 door coupe, 216 straight, 6 volt original barn find, 43000 miles, runs great. I would like some information on how to find the original owner from 1941. If not, the possibility on finding fairly close to that anyway.
I purchased the car in September of 2014 at the Jefferson County car show in Wisconsin. The paperwork that came with car took me back to last two owners, circa 1978?
Any info on how will be greatly appreciated.

Take your serial number and google the entire number. I have had stuff pop up on mine, as well.

Be advised you are putting somewhat private info out there, by showing the number, but I saw no harm in doing so.

Be advised that almost no entity keeps records that old. You might get lucky but don't hold your breath.

Thanks for the reply. All I got were hits on the last few number of the vin. Nothing related to the whole vin though.

Yes, there had to have been activity with the full serial number, being involved, for any information to appear.

On mine, I found information, regarding the original owner. But, for me, I already knew about the original owner, since there were only 2 previous owners to my '51.

It was worth a try, on your part though. dance
