The air filter etc are missing from my car; can anyone share photos so I can see what I am looking for?
It looks like something was attached to the pipe where oil is added to the crankcase.

The 1929 air cleaner is a one year only application. There was a pipe that went from the air cleaner to the side of the oil filler tube.

On the early 1929 models the pipe went from the air cleaner to the oil separator at the back of the engine block.

Great job on the air filter and air tube BearsFan !!! Looks a lot like my 30 air filter, just not as pretty as yours.

Air enters the '29 air cleaner on the firewall side (away from the carburetor). For the '30 air cleaner the air intake is on the carburetor side. Otherwise they look similar.
