Does anyone know the length of the rear shock absorber link on the '35 1/2 ton panel truck? I can find the part number but not the length.

I'm not sure, the arms are about a foot long (longer than the front shocks). How can I tell?

The double acting has a cap on each end and both ends look the same. Arm is more or less centered.

The single has just a one piece iron body and arm is more to one end.

Single has resistance when the arm is pulled down only. When pulled down and released arm oves up by its self.
Double has resistance in both directions how ever it is less in the up movement.

The link fits many Chevrolet models
1930-1933 front all cars
1937-1939 all small trucks front
1933-34 Standard rear
I don't have the length on that one but they may be reproduced because they fit so many cars.

If they are the same as 1935 Master they are 9 inches end to end. Standards are 8 and a quarter in length.
