Guys ,what type of hardware was used to secure the ID plate on the open car seat riser? Wood screws? Flat head nails? Thanks.

Frank, I have used brass escutcheon pins -- small nails with round heads like the rivets used to attach the ID plates to the starters, generators, etc. Here's what they look like:

I have a ton of them left over and can mail you six of them if you like..... so you can bend two of them over trying to install them like I did.
