You guy's are so lucky, where I live in Australia about 100 miles from Sydney we are paying $5.20 per US gal or $1.30 per litre, I thought this stuff all came from the same hole in the ground in the middle east somewhere, why the difference, I wonder.

I live about 200k south of Sydney so I know what you mean but ALL of our fuel is refined in Singapore these days and is priced differently as a result.

Until about 5 years ago we refined about 50% but the Caltex, Shell and BP shut the refineries down.

A couple places in N.H. are 1.99 per gallon but locally its $2.14 . At these prices I might be able to FILL the tank on my Silverado which I haven't done for a couple years.

I paid 1.959 This morning to fill up my daily driver, first time in YEARs I filled it up for $20. in South East Virginia... Average Price is around 2.00 Per Gallon

Low prices all seem like a ploy or Political Game to me... just waiting for the prices to go through the roof to compensate the losses :/

The last place in the continental U.S. to go under two buck a gallon will be Fayetteville, NC. Will too. I'm thinking about moving to SC.

$1.09 ... WOW, I can only imagine the flip side of this fuel pricing "gift". The flip side will be the day we will need a bank loan to fill up. dance

Perhaps the "Flip side" is you won't be needing a locking gas cap for awhile...

Glad I saved my replica gas sign selling it for 17 cents a gallon! Might just become current! (fat chance of that)…Can't get over the $1.09 quote! And Jaw33…that's the advantage of not being taxed to death!!! Billu38

If you take the state and federal tax off the price of gas you'd be really surprised at the number.
