You 1953 Chevrolet enthusiast might want to watch this 10 minute movie entitled "Dinah Shore Introduces the 1953 Chevrolet". It discusses many details of the '53 with great pictures of the design details. In the end, Dinah sings "See the USA in Your Chevrolet".

I never tire of watching that film......seems that most of what GM had to offer that year was not nearly as nice looking as the Chevrolets. Great color combinations, some nice features added - full windshield, re-vamped PG that shifted from low to high, optional power steering etc. One of the nicest looking dash boards ever designed - but then again, I am biased. Thanks for sharing!!

Love the car...Dinah Shore tends to get on my last good working nerve after awhile...Commercializing...
