While we are all on the subject of difficult parts, would some one tell me how to cope with removing the shaft bushings? The inner thread turns freely, but the outer, (the one that threads thru the a-frame arm) is seized. I'm pretty fair with the torch, but I see no burning here. I'm already buying one new RFA-frame. Don't wanna buy the LFA-frame.

Just heat it with a torch...Use a heating tip rather than a cutting tip.Don't get it "red" or the part will be unsafe to use.Put the heat on the bushing if possible.
I have the new A frame all packed and ready to go.

Thanks Gene, I guess I goofed then because I did heat it to it got slightly "red". Did I lose the temper of the cast iron now? I sure hope not.
