What is the proper floor covering material (carpet, rubber matting, etc.) for a 1927 Coach?

Hi I think original is a rubber mat cut to fit. This is what I have in my sedan. My touring car has painted wood which works fine also. Installing rubber floor mat in the touring car is on my list of things to do. Ken
I have a 1927 Chevy Capital AA 4 Door also a 1927 Chevy Touring car, a 1936 Chevy 1/2 ton and a 2010 Corvette LT3 Convertible and a 1953 Packard Caribbean. My tow car is a 2011 Suburban.

You can purchase a rubber floor mat with Chevrolet bowties. It is not correct for 1927 but looks better.

For what it's worth; my '25 sedan has a rubber front floor mat and carpet in the rear that is the same shade as the interior upholstery.
