I am preparing to remove the 235 from the Aero. Should I remove it at the bell housing, or with the transmission still on it? I am also uncertain as to whether the transmission needs any type of servicing. (3-speed) I am planning on replacing the clutch, bearing and pressure plate. Any advice? I only want to do this once.
Thanks,
Wenatcheewalt

I removed the 216 and tranny separately from mine and all when quite smoothly...I would think you would have a bit of a clearance problem with motor and tranny unless you have removed the front clip,chef- chevy

The entire body has been removed. Just frame and motor sitting on casters now. I was concerned about supporting the torque tube and overdrive. I was not planning on removing the overdrive or tube as there is nothing to rebuild on them to my knowledge....Walt
