Hi, anyone can tell me the order of the differents pieces of a eagle radiator cap?

On this NOS picture, I can see the copper diaphragme, but in the NORS I can see the red gasket.

The brass disk provides the pressure like a spring to seat the gasket. Most original caps that are found don't have the fiber gasket. The gasket will seal better than the brass plate.

I bought a reproduction, and I have on it the red gasket behind the brass disk. Do I need both, or may they have been inverted?
