The cables coming from the dash.one has a slot cut into it.the end that is on the cable.and the center stem has a pin in it was that one for the choke.or the spark.

I have only found "Choke" cables with the slot and pin to keep the knob from rotating. All I can remember were on '30 Chevys or maybe early '31s. I have found most '31s and '32s have a groove in the center shaft and tab in the housing to keep them from rotating.

Very good that's what I thought, all the other stems have a slot cut down them.I think it was that way to keep from over pulling on the carb.thanks again.
