The drivers door glass on our 2 dr HT is loose needs new rubber weggie in lower glass channel. SO i removed interior door panel and the nuts and bolts that secure window crank regulator, guides, and even (4) securing vent window assy. The vent assy still wont remove nor will the window. I have the window propped up presently with a piece of 2X2 inside the door. I have only one Reg roller still captive to the lower window channel. PS i have the 1967 Fisher body service manual to view but cannot find a comparable 1962 Fisher body manual available. I just ordered the 1961 and 62 supplement manuals plus the 62 assy manual perhaps the info is in there...Meanwhile can anyone help what to remove next...thanks in advance...

The window regulator does not have to come out. There are two screws (I just checked) phillips head screws that secure the lower window frame to the horizontal track. That track rides on the window regulator rollers. Just take those screws out and it will be free. Then you will have to move the regulator up or down to gain clearence, and drop the front of the window down, sort of turning the entire window 90 degrees. The problem is with most of these windows is the lower frame either rots out or the spot welds snap that hold the bracket that screws to the lower frame let go. Very common problem. It seems like a cushion or bumper is loose because there is no solid support on the lower frame. Good news is the lower frames are reproduced, bad news is they were pretty expensive last time I had to buy one
